suit up

nothing like fluctuating NYC temps to remind you that you still need to wear layers. but whatever, ill take it if it means i can wear a sharp gentlemanly suit. this one from Her Velvet Vase is perfectly fitted and keeps me looking proper. I paired it with some classic adidas since i cant walk more than a block in heels (if that) and a striped turtleneck from american apparel since its still a little chilly and ive been sick FOR-EVER, so gotta keep that neck warm!

had so much fun spending a beautiful spring like day in NYC shooting this denim romper from MINKPINK. i paired it with my fave clogs from FARYL ROBIN which were so comfy i was able to walk ALL over nyc in them (which says alot!) here's to hoping this weather lasts and we are done with the crazy cold we had all winter!

leather weather

the weather in NYC lately has been insane. I've been DYING for a day that wasn't -22 (yes we HAD THAT) so i could wear this amazing piece from ABERCROMBIE. its the softest vegan leather jacket EVER and has amazing fringe coming off the arms and back. paired with my fave basic tee from BALM & some men's sweats, its the perfect outfit to roam the city & stay comfy.

americana blonde

when your friend texts you and asks if you can shoot in an hour at a neon lights store, obviously the answer will always be yes. i thought it would be the perfect place to shoot this amazing necklace from AMERICANA BLONDE, a collaboration between my friend Rachel of I HATE BLONDE & SUSANNA GALANIS - paired with my new abercrombie jumpsuit and of course some TUKs (and a juicebox). We had so much fun shooting this entire set (on film). I wont even try to remember all the crazy cameras that were used on this shoot, but one of them was like, bigger than me.

layered

in NYC it doesn't matter how heavy your jacket is, you will always be cold. at any given time i am wearing 3-5 layers. for this, i layered my fave RACK & CLUTCH denim dress under the cutest printed sweater from KERSH and topped it off with my faux fur baby from ABERCROMBIE. (not pictured the 2 undershirts I'm also wearing to keep warm!) i love the way layers look, and love putting together fun outfits, but I'm itching to get out of this cold and somewhere WARM!
